From Girl Mom to Senior Guy Sessions — And Loving It!
When I first started photographing seniors, I naturally pictured myself working mostly with girls — probably because I’m a mom to two daughters myself. It felt familiar, like second nature. I imagined twirling dresses, flowers, giggles, and golden hour glow. But then, I started photographing senior guys… and to my surprise, I loved it just as much!
There’s something so fun about bringing out their personalities, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera, and capturing who they are in this huge milestone moment. Whether it’s a laid-back, cool vibe or something a little more polished, it’s been such a joy to see these young men open up during a session.
So while I may be a girl mom, photographing senior guys has truly won a special place in my heart.
