The one always behind the camera, rarely in front of it. The photos I have with my daughters? Most of them are selfies — arms stretched, giggles caught mid-snap, proof that I was there too.

Neutral tones, soft pastels, and complementary colors always photograph beautifully! As an experienced family & senior photographer in San Luis Obispo, I provide a style guide that goes over everything you need in order to prepare for your session....including what to wear. As a starting point, I always encourage people to think about what kinds of colors they like having displayed in their home. From there, you can pick a color palette and find coordinating (not matching) outfits. Remember to add layers and textures for added visual interest!
What should we wear?
Yes!! A huge part of being a photographer is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. None of the people in any of the photos you see on my website are models and most of them told me they are awkward in photos. There is no reason to stress. I will pose and direct you every step of the way.
Do you help with posing?
Most photography sessions last between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the type of session. As a family & senior photographer, I aim to keep sessions relaxed and fun so we can capture natural, joyful moments without feeling rushed.
How long does a session usually last?

Absolutely! As a photographer in San Luis Obispo, I love utilizing the area’s diverse landscapes. Whether you prefer the rolling hills, sandy beaches, charming downtown streets, or a more intimate in-home setting, I can help you choose the perfect location for your session.
Do you offer
location suggestions?
You can expect a beautifully edited online gallery within 2-3 weeks. As a dedicated SLO photographer, I take time to ensure each image is carefully curated and edited to reflect the joyful, colorful style I’m known for. I will email you a private gallery link where you will be able to share, view, choose favorites and select the photos you want to keep.
When will I receive my photos?
You can absolutely print your photos through me! There really is nothing like holding physical prints in your hands. It just hits different! I use a high-quality, professional, true to color print lab and offer gorgeous deep-matte prints. They are beautiful!
I also offer canvas options, metal prints and high quality heirloom albums.
